Foundations is an introductory course that will expose you to some of the movements we do, explain the why behind our program, and expose you to class structure. There are 4 sessions where you will meet one-on-one with a coach. These sessions will teach you all you need to know about doing CrossFit at CrossFit AMRAP.

Foundations: Training

Who has to do foundations?

Anyone who is new to CrossFit has to take Foundations. We strive to doing the common uncommonly well. The best place to learn new skills and hone your abilities is in a one-on-one setting.

How much does it cost?

Foundations cost $120. This gets you 4 one-on-one sessions with a coach. You have 30 days to complete them. Often, they are completed before the month is over. Once your four sessions are complete you can join the regular class times.

What does a foundations session look like?

Each Foundations session is set up to flow just like our classes do. Each day starts off with a general warm up, like 2 minutes on a rower or a short run to get the heart pumping. Then there is a specific warm up that involves more moving and stretching. Next, you will learn the movement and skills for the day. This portion makes up a bulk of the hour. After you feel confident in the new movements we end the day off with a little workout.
