September is going to be a different month. Long metcons without strength, one day of the week and then 2 days of strength only - specifically OLY related and general strength building. Emphasis on speed in our lifts and just getting stronger in general. No skill of the month.

Tall Clean

4 Set of 3 Reps Tall

Halting Clean from High Hang

EMOM x 8 Rounds

1 Halting Clean from High Hang Position @ 60-75%


***A Halting Clean is performed as if you are going to lift the barbell but then you stop at the high hang position. It is an acceleration drill and then a control drill. Ensuring you can speed thru the push off the floor, initiate the scoop under and then finish the lift. The position dictates where the barbell HALTS so it will be performed as if you are going to lift, the halt at the power position for a split second and then annihilate that barbell.

1 Snatch Grip Push Press + 2 Snatch Balance + 2 OHS


***Light, purposeful, speed, and position focused





Snatch Grip Romanian Deadlift

4 sets of 8 reps @ 100% of Snatch

***If your 100% is not heavy, then make it heavy. The barbell does not touch the ground here, the hips are high and the hamstrings get torched.
