CrossFit Kids: There will be NO CrossFit Kids tonight, Tuesday, October 30th, or Saturday, November 3rd. Classes will resume on November 6th at 6 p.m. for ages 4-5, 6:30 p.m. for ages 6-10, and then at 7 p.m. for ages 10-14. Hot Chocolate 15/5k: The Hot Chocolate run is this weekend. Both the 15k and the 5k are scheduled to begin at 7:00 a.m. (SIDE NOTE: It’s Daylight’s Savings Time the day before; be sure to set your clocks ahead.)
I have posted a sign-up sheet when you first walk in to the gym on the bulletin board over the computer for those who would like their packet picked up and those who would like to carpool. Please post your name if you would like your packet picked up or like a ride downtown. The Nisson will be leaving promptly at 4:30 a.m. to make time for traffic and parking. (Yes, we can stop for coffee.)
LuRong Tribute WOD: As many of you know, the Lurong Paleo Challenge has been going on for some time now. Over the course of the past six weeks, we Challengers have been required to complete a performance/skill based WOD to help measure our progress. This week’s workout is a tribute to Lt. Brian Scott Letendre.
Letendre died May 3, 2006, while conducting combat operations against enemy forces in Al Anbar province, Iraq. He was assigned to the Marine Forces Reserve’s Inspector and Instructor Staff, 1st Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, Plainville, Connecticut.
