Very simply, it could have been that the WOD consisted of 50 heavy Thrusters (55/40k) and 3 bar-facing burpees every minute on the minute. However, the workout seemed to have some experiencing flashbacks of the infamous “Kalsu” and others wishing that they had skipped out on all of the squats in ”Tabata Something Else” earlier this week.
Whatever it was though, the flashback, previous workouts, or even simply the prescribed weight, everyone who came in tackled this beast, despite their possible reluctance, did well handling the burpees and the barbell. Not everyone is always willing to take on difficult tasks, especially when they do not feel prepared; however, for those that do, it leaves them stronger in the end.
Good work with this one, guys. She was a rough one.
