Yesterday evening, I walked into the main gym after finishing up with a private session. The regular class had just finished with their workout and were putting their equipment away, when I overhead two people discussing the WOD, which included 21-15-9 of Back Squats, Slam Balls, and Overhead Walking Lunges:
“I stood up after I was done and felt like I had drunk legs, wobbling around all over the place.”
“Ha! I walk better after a couple – just kidding. But my legs fried after that first round of 21.”
Drunk or fried, yesterday’s workout left everyone walking a little funny. The good thing about the WOD was that it lasted under ten minutes, and what’s even better is that today’s workout will help stretch out those legs a little bit.
Good work to everyone who went through the leg-burner yesterday, and hopefully we’ll see you in for some running, pull ups, broad jumps, and ring dips. From what I’ve heard there’s been quite a few PRs on the board. Let’s see what tonight brings!
