CrossFit Kids is a strength and conditioning program for young athletes and the primary P.E. programs for many schools. It is used by athletes of all kinds, martial artists and by kids whose parents want them to grow up with a general love of fitness.
CrossFit Kids requires children, from ages 4-12, to run, jump, push, pull, throw, climb, lift and tumble safely and efficiently in order to instill an interest in fitness, regardless of whether or not the child plays sports, and to prevent childhood inactivity and obesity.
At CrossFit AMRAP, we have three options available for CrossFit Kids: first, the basic kids’ event sessions, which is open to kids of all ages. The Kids events will be held every other month. Be sure to watch the blog and the CrossFit Kids page for more details. All children, regardless of whether or not their parents are members at CrossFit AMRAP, are invited to attend.
The second option is the CrossFit Kids’ classes. The monthly class schedule will be modified throughout the summer months; we will be offering classes for children, ages 4-6 on Tuesday mornings from 9-9:35 a.m. We will also be holding class for children, ages 7-12, on Thursday mornings from 9-10 a.m.
Here are the current class schedule for CrossFit AMRAP Kids, ages 4-6:
- Tuesday, July 29th (10-10:35 a.m.)
- Tuesday, August 5th
- Tuesday, August 12th
All classes are held from 9-9:35 a.m. with the exception of Tuesday, July 29th, which will be from 10-10:35 a.m. The cost for the three sessions is $15. There is a $10 drop-in fee.
For kids, ages 7-12, the summer camp will be held on the following dates:
- Thursday, July 31st
- Thursday, August 7th
- Thursday, August 14th
All Thursday classes will be from 9-10 a.m. Cost for the three sessions is $30. There is a $15 drop-in fee.

CrossFit AMRAP offers strength and conditioning to teams wishing to prepare for their upcoming seasons. The CrossFit program is designed to improve individual athletes in ten fitness domains, including speed, agility, power, strength, coordination, balance, stamina, endurance, accuracy, and flexibility.
The Team Strength/Conditioning camps are personalized sessions to each individual team. Five or more participants are required in order to establish a group training session. Dates and times will be determined by the participants.
