Yesterday’s workout was a much welcomed sprint compared to Monday’s 5 rounds of 5 Muscle Ups (or 15 Pull Ups and Ring Dips), 10 Overhead Squats, and 20 Double Unders. The workout consisted of a 500 meter row, 10 Power Cleans (185/125#), 20 Ring Dips/Push Ups, 30 Kettlebell Swings (70/55#), 40 Walking Lunges, and a 400 meter run.
The WOD was a bit more manageable and all were able to finish well under the 15 minute mark. What was even better though was that before the workout started, we were able to spend some time establishing a new one-rep max on our Power Cleans. It’s not every day that you get to clean house before killing it a second time in the WOD.
